DIY – Colorful and Simple Wall Art

Today I will be sharing a SUPER simple idea to jazz up the boring Walls!

I know most of you would have taken great care while doing done your wall decors. But you might want to change the set up once in a while. So take a look at this easy and exciting option. Brownie point to the fact that your kids can lend their cute little hands, equally, as the project takes shape… 🙂

So here is how we get started.

  • Take a white sheet of paper. Color it with your favorite color combinations. Here we are using ivory blue, electric blue, indigo, azure and a dash of pearl white.Tip: Load your brush randomly with colors and apply horizontal and vertical strokes on paper.
  • OnPicture3ce you have the patterned paper ready, take a circle cutter and cut even sized 50-60 circles. Tip: You may use bottle covers as well to trace the circles and then cut them out with scissors.
  • Here is how all the circles will look. If you notice, Picture4each circle has a different blending style of blue shades. So while the circles look highly disorganized and muddled, we will try to introduce some symmetry by arranging them in systematized fashion.
  • Next, we will do a dry run by arranging all the circles on a plain white canvas. Once the circles have been given satisfactory placement, we can move on to Picture5gluing them down.
  • With the help of a Flat Brush and Mod Podge, glue every single circle on the canvas.Picture6
  • Keep it aside for drying for about 30-40 minutes.
  • Once done, put the canvas in frame and allow it to decorate your Walls!Picture8
